Aspen Snowmass in October 2026
As every year since 1998, the "John Denver Week" is planned to take place again this October -- lots of events in memory of John and his music, concerts, sing alongs, hikes, campfires...
Aspen in October 2025 is history, and planning for 2026 is taking place. Dates have been set for Sept. 30 - Oct. 05, 2026. One big change happened in 2024 - the event was, after the Mountain Chalet Aspen has been sold, moved to Snowmass!
To get an idea about what the list may look like, you can check out events from older lists (2025 - 2024 - 2023 - 2022 - 2021 - 2020 - 2019 - 2018 - 2017 - 2016 - 2015 - 2014 - 2013 - 2012) (links there may be outdated in case the targets have been removed from the net by now. We unfortunately do not have any influence on this.). Please note we are not the ones who organize those events - thus, we are only able to pass on the info we get... :-)

John Denver Weekend
Our annual "big" club meeting will be held again in the Fall this year - the date is
October 16 - 18, 2026
During this three-day-event, which will take place for the 44th time in 2026, we will spend the weekend together, enjoying a programme with a paper chase, a lottery, lots of sing alongs etc.
People from all over the world are welcome to join us - you don't need to speak German (just about all of us speak English, and if the person you would like to talk to does not, you will certainly find your personal interpreter.. ;) ) or be a member of our club - you only have to like John Denver's music.
Since our orchard will be 30 years old this year, the place for the Weekend will be the Jugendherberge /Youth Hostel) Bad Neuenahr this year. Of course we will take a trip to visit our trees during that weekend!
In case you are interested in joining us, please first of all contact our Weekend Team via weekend@johndenver.de about the registration procedure, we will fill you in then. Please do NOT contact the Youth Hostel directly....

A heartfelt welcome to the website of John Denver's Fan Club "music and communication". We hope you will easily find your way around here with the sidebar on top, but here are a few hints about what you can find on this site. Just click on the respective word.
We would like to invite you on this site to get to know us a bit better - so on the following pages, you will be able to find out what we are doing in the club in general and which events we have been planing for our members, you can have a look at our photo pages, and you can read about the club's history (in the mirror of John's carreer).

In case you are looking for lyrics of John's songs - for legal reasons, it is not possible for us to offer lyrics here directly. An official source to download them in not existing, unfortunately, but a search engine like Google may help.
